The lady behind Natural Therapies

Therese Cataldo is the Mornington Peninsula based creator of Natural Therapies.

The desire to create a line of age-reducing products was generated the day of Theresa’s 40^th birthday when she noticed fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone.This sparked research into skin care formulas that would help reverse the ageing process.Therese was motivated to try a range of different brands but had very little success with some products causing skin inflammation and allergic reactions.Sick of getting minor results, Therese embarked on developing her own formula.This involved trying hundreds of different ingredients until Therese stumbled across citric, which is an effective yet gentle component. Of course this sparked more research and a need to ultilise citric c in an exfoliating treatment.Therese was happy with the results including improvement to the elasticity to her skin.However Therese had a desire to experiment further by mixing a formula including Dermaxyl, a hydrating agent.

Therese noticed after 7 weeks of trying both formulas that her skin improved dramatically, she was successful in reducing the appearance of fine lines and enjoyed a more youthful appearance.

Suddenly, Therese’s friends wanted to know her secret and asked to try the formulas.Her friends were happy with the results and suggested to Therese that she should market these unique products.

So, Therese hit the laboratory to conduct tests for allergic reactions on willing volunteers.All trails were successful and currently Therese is continuing on her dream to provide a range of nourishing beauty products nationally.
